Posted May 1st, 2008 by domingo in
Like usual in HITB, this year the conference had a CTF (Capture The Flag), where everybody could register and start playing automatically. Several individuals and companies' security teams tried but Scanit was the only one who achieved the top! The CTF was composed of 2 different challenges:
The first challenge was Web Application Hacking, with 5 different levels, where our Application & Systems Team had a very valuable participation.
The second challenge was Reverse Engineering of a Linux binaries, with 6 different levels, where our R&D Labs member Julio Auto outplayed the challenge after 3 hours of deep concentration.
Congratulations to Scanit members who participated in the CTF and let's keep up the good work!!
