Scanit to make Malaysia its sea hub

Scanit ME FZ LLC, a Dubai-based information technology (IT) security consultancy company, is set to make Malaysia its Southeast-Asian hub given the country's strategic position in the region.
Its chief executive officer David Michaux said that the timing was perfect for them to set up base here as there were more investments from the Middle East in the country.
"There is also an increased requirement for IT security here and around the region especially in Indonesia. Companies are beginning to realise that their security needs are not being met," explained Michaux at a press luncheon here yesterday. However, Scanix's initial focus is providing service to its existing Middle Eastern clients who have invested in the Malaysian market.
